A: can easily carry this bag on a flight. Great bag.
Q :Can you use this for figure skates?
A :The boots/skates are on the outside, with no restrictions. I guess you could use with skates, although honestly I did not use this bag. I want my boots at least a little protected so I bought a bag where the boots are inside.
Q:How does this compare to unigear 50 l ski boot bag
A:Not sure exact specification of other bag but this Bag is great. Plenty of pockets, held up well to the season (ski team) and plenty of room for all my daughters gear. Great price, great quality, go for it!

Q: I am looking for a gear bag for my snowmobile helmet, boots, coat, pants etc. Wondering how big the helmet compartment is? Do you think this will work
A: Using this for skiing. It is good quality and functionality for the price. However, overall it is a bit small and the helmet compartment is barely big enough for ski helmet. Snowmobile helmets, especially with face shields are bigger than skiing helmets. If you can fit the boots and helmet, there will not be much room for much more. see less
A: We are a family of four and just got four of these bags for ski trips. It fits our ski boots- and it fits our helmets with goggles on the top compartment. So the helmet sits on top of the boots- they both fit like a puzzle. The bigger part of the helmet sits where the toe of the ski boots are. And we put our ski pants in between the boots in that compartment and our gloves and face masks fit in the front compartment. It is a great bag. I don’t think it will fit your coat unless you roll it and tie it with the outside ties on the outside of the bag which my son does with his for ski club. Hope this helps
