Ottoman Empire, gatherings of Turkish Tribes, grew to be one of the most powerful empires between 15th and 16th Centuries, until the empire came to an end after ruling their territory for 600 years. To be exact, it was 1922 when they were replaced by the Turkish Republic and various successor states in southeastern Europe and the Middle East. Nonetheless, how the empire ruled their territory impacted the world at the time and it is still has some influence in the Modern Republic of Turkey, through art, music, and literature. Our Floral Ceramic Plate was inspired by the the Ottoman Empire Period Art Style and made by a local designer and potter Kemal, in Kutahya, known for it’s hardworking potters and painters.
