A multifunctional unit for home offices and small work groups, the imageCLASS MF445dw Monochrome Laser Printer from Canon offers printing, scanning, copying, and faxing functions to fulfill your imaging needs. This model produces sharp text and prints in black at speeds as fast as 40 ppm, and for handling media the printer comes equipped with a 250-sheet paper cassette, as well as a 100-sheet multipurpose tray. The unit handles paper sizes up to 8.5 x 14″, and first print-out time is a fast 5.3 seconds. A high-capacity, all-in-one toner cartridge reduces overall supply costs, and two-sided printing reduces paper consumption.

For scanning, the MF455dw utilizes a single-pass document feeder for two-sided scanning at speeds up to 70 ipm in black and white or up to 26 ipm in color. And once scanned, files can then be converted into multiple file formats, including Hi-Compression PDF and Searchable PDF. Copy resolution is a sharp 600 x 600 dpi, while copy speeds are a quick 40 ppm for letter-size documents. Additionally, up to 999 copies can be made at a time and copy magnification ranges from 25 to 400%.

An intuitive 5″ color touchscreen offers smartphone-like usability and can be customized to simplify daily tasks, and with the MF445dw you can create a Wi-Fi Direct hotspot from the printer to establish direct connection to compatible mobile devices without the need for an external router. Additionally, with the Canon PRINT Business app, you have access to additional device settings as well as the ability to scan from the printer to a mobile phone or tablet.
