WOW your friends, family or yourself with this rare and exotic zebra wood soap dish. I This soap dish measures approximately 4″ x 2.75″ wide and .75″ thick. zebra wood is a very hard wood with a
wild striped wood grain. No two pieces are the same. Wipe this wood with a natural wood oil to cause these colors to really pop out! poplar wood is a hardwood that varies in color from light cream to light green. It functions incredibly well as a soap dish as it can withstand water penetration and exposure exceptionally well. Use it often to care for your zebra wood soap dish…
While
a soap dish significantly extends the life of your handcrafted soaps, did you know that it is possible to also extend the life of your handcrafted natural wood soap dishes? From experience, with constant daily use and water exposure in a shower, these dishes can last 8 months to a year or more. To extend the life of your soap dish, I encourage customers to use my soap dishes in pairs. Use one soap dish for 2-3 weeks, and then gently wipe clean with a damp cloth and set aside to allow it to fully dry out. Use the second dish for 2-3 weeks while the first dish dries out, and then alternate them this way. Allowing dishes to fully dry out every few weeks will prevent mold and mildew from developing and it will prevent wood from becoming waterlogged and rotting. This will greatly increase the life of a soap dish! The Howells’ Family
